Drunkenness.-There is scarcely any hope of adrunkard reforming in a hot climate : It is reportedin Halts Columbia, that, of 3000 Europeans whowent to Columbia a few years since, not more than300 survive ; and three parts out of five of thismortality may be attributed to drinking.
